Arsene Wenger has named his 25-man squad who will play in the 2016/17 Champions League campaign.

The Gunners have been drawn in Group A and are expected to compete with the likes of Paris Saint Germain, Basel and Ludogrets in order to progress to the next stage of the European Champions League.

Below is the full list of Arsenal players who are eligible to play in the Champions League this season.

Goalkeepers: Petr Cech, David Ospina and Emiliano Martinez

Defenders: Matthieu Debuchy, Gabriel Paulista, Laurent Koscielny, Rob Holding, Nacho Monreal, Shkodran Mustafi and Carl Jenkinson. Captain Mertesacker has been left out as a result of his injury which may see him stay on the sidelines until December. He could be included in the squad by then if Arsenal are able to make it to the next stage.

Midfielders: Mesut Ozil, Santi Cazorla, Kieran Gibbs, Aaron Ramsey, Granit Xhaka, Jeff Reine-Adelaide, Francis Coquelin, Mohamed Elneny and Krystian Bielik

Forwards: Alexis Sanchez, Olivier Giroud, Lucas Perez, Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Yaya Sanogo.
