Mesut Ozil took to Facebook-owned social media network Instagram to bid Instanbul farewell as he headed back to London.
The German international was given holiday by Arsenal just to ease off the stress he has gone through so far and the midfielder travelled to Turkey where he spent a few days.
He made a return to London on Sunday to prepare for the Manchester United game and before leaving, he posted the picture below with a farewell message on his Instagram account. The message reads: “Goodbye Istanbul🇹🇷 #seeusoon #turkey🇹🇷 #ozil”
Arsenal have played eleven games in the Premier League this season and are currently in fourth spot, two points behind Liverpool who are on top.
They will visit Old Trafford this weekend to play Manchester United and will be hoping that Ozil performs well as usual.
