Arsenal have agreed a deal which will see Gedion Zelalem join VVVVenlo on loan for the remainder of the season.
The midfielder showed up at the club's training ground where a medical was conducted yesterday afternoon. This was after the two parties have concluded negotiations.
As it usually is at the early stages of player deal completion, Arsenal have not given an official announcement regarding this.
The United States of America youth international extended his contract at the Emirates before making the switch to join the Dutch Second Division leaders.
This will come as a blow for borrusia Dortmund who are reportedly keen on signing Zelalem on a free transfer in the summer.
Zelalem made a similar move last season when he joined Rangers in the Scottish 2nd Division and helped them gain promotion to the Scottish Premier League.
