Thiago Alcantara has resumed light training as he hopes to meet up with his side's Champions League last 16 clashes with Arsenal.
The midfielder sustained an ankle injury while in mid-season training with Bayern Munich in Qatar earlier this month.
This made him unavailable when the Bavarians returned to Bundesliga action after the Christmas break last Friday.
The 25-year-old hasn't joined the rest of his teammates in full training yet but with his recovery rate, he should do that soon.
Carlo Ancelotti's hopes of having him back before the first leg which will hold on February 15 seems to have come to pass.
