Arsenal Hit With more Injuries.

TheĀ  list seems to be growing longer after subsequent games as three of our first team players have added their names to the injury list. Before our 4-1 win over Sunderland last Saturday, we have had players like Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott who we have all been looking forward to their quick return and while the suspense is still on, Nacho Monreal whose 28th birthday is today, Laurent Koscielny and Jack Wilshere have all got fitness issues which need medical attention. Kierran Gibbs too is not left out of the list. He was so unlucky to have been substituted very early against Bayern Munich.

Though most of the most recent casualties are not expected to stay out for so long, there is still some cause for alarm. Presently we have no fit left back and we got streams of tough games ahead of us. In central defence Per Mertesacker and Thomas Vermaelen who still lacks match fitness are the ones we have left. Should Arsene Wenger's predictions concerning their returns eventually fail then we are in for very serious trouble. As a Gunner, I am just believing the manager because I am aware he knows how to make his team survive during such periods. He had done it before, he can do it again. Maybe he will just convert Fabianski to a left back. Lol.

Koscielny, Wilshere, Monreal, Gibbs Injury Update

Wenger last Saturday faced the press and according to him those injuries should not be long-term ones. Monreal got a kick on his foot but is not expected to miss the Stoke City game. Koscielny is struggling with a back injury. He is also expected to make the weekend squad. Wilshere has a hamstring strain. As at the time Wenger made these revelations it had not been ascertained whether it is a serious one or not. We will get to know better when a scan had been conducted.

I know you are now asking "What if they do not get fit?" My answer for you is: "Just Keep Calm and Trust Arsene. Up next will be a transfer news involving Mesut Ozil. Stay Tuned!!!
