Arsene Wenger Rubbishes Barcelona Link.

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has rubbished rumours linking him with a possible move to Barcelona. It was being reported all over Spain yesterday that the Catalan club who are on the verge of sacking Gerardo Martino are considering Le Prof as his replacement. Andre Villas-Boas was also said to be on their radar but it seems the former Spurs manager prefers Zenit Saint Petersburg's approach.

Arsene Wenger Denies Barca Link.

The Frenchman made it clear he had no plans of leaving the Emirates outfit as he is committed to them. What might have brought up such a speculation is the fact that he has not yet agreed to extend his contract. According to ESPN, a new deal will be announced on the day Wenger manages his 1000th game at Arsenal - the clash will be against Chelsea.

Reacting to the news during his press conference on Friday, Wenger said, "No, my commitment is always fully here and nowhere else."

On whether he planned staying at his present club for so long he replied, "No, not at all, I never would envisage that. We are in a job like you go for the next game, and try to do well in that next game. Then step by step, sometimes you get to 1,000."

Wenger leaving Arsenal for Barcelona?? What a dream that will never come to reality. Even before the boss denied the links I knew such would never happen.
