Wenger Could Retire at the End of the Season, Says Arsenal Legend.

Former Scottish international and Arsenal goalkeeper, Bob Wilson believes Arsene Wenger would resign if he miraculously wins the Premier League trophy which almost looks unlikely to happen this season.

Bob WilsonThe legend despite hoping the 64-year old will sign a new contract at the club still thinks he might consider ending his stay at the Emirates whenever he claims the league title.

I think he should [sign a new deal]," he told Talk Sport.

"But there will come a time when Arsene will decide to quit, maybe it will be when he wins a trophy, which of course they can do this season, but I don’t think the FA Cup [would count].

"I think it would happen if he could win the Premier League title again."

Bob Wilson made a total of 308 appearances during his reign at Arsenal between 1963 and 1974. He was the first Englishman to appear in the Scottish national team since 1873. In the year 2011 he lost a son-in-law who died after consuming a corned beef sandwich.
