When he newly left North-London and many Arsenal supporters tagged him as a "money hunter" which later lead to them calling him "Ca$hri", the French midfielder fired back by stating he left not for the money but to get laurels which he was being deprived of under Arsene Wenger. This time around he has come out again to make the declaration that he did not regret leaving Arsenal. He also frowned at the way the club's best players were being sold out without good replacements for them.
“I spent three seasons at Arsenal without any title and at the end of the season we sold our best player that was Cesc Fabregas,” Nasri was quoted as saying by Goal.com.
“I don’t want to be disrespectful, but I had a meeting with Arsene Wenger who told me to not be worried, he signed Gervinho and he will get reinforcements.
“I preferred to join City and I won titles and indeed I earn a better living. And why not a second national title in three years?
“I am very happy with my choice.”
Samir Nasri won a trophy (the Premier League) in his first season at the Etihad Stadium, following in the footsteps of Cesc Fabregas who won a medal in less than three days of his departure from the Emirates Stadium.

Well I don't see anything wrong with what he said. He did what he taught was best for his career. I think that's what differentiates a professional player to a club/team player. But what I despise is that he said unnecessary stuff which hurt many fans feelings. If anyone thinks that Arsenal gave him the life or future then your are wrong, he was a player who could have played at any club, such is his talent. I am just happy that he played with us. Also if you think about it, there are many professional players who play with many clubs but there are very few who stick to a club and offer their services. And the big difference is they remain immortal, in the hearts of the fans. But again I think its selfish of fans to expect every player to commit himself to a club.
