The two sides had met twice this season and Arsenal won on both occasions. The second victory came this afternoon in a clash which Aaron Ramsey's opener and Lukas Podolski's brace gave all three points to the visitors. If one should judge by that, a conclusion could be made that it will be so easy for Arsenal to defeat Hull in the FA Cup final. Wenger thinks otherwise as he claims it will not be so smooth as people expect.
"The Cup final is a completely different game," Wenger insisted.
Also speaking on the topic, Ramsey said:
"We have beaten Hull twice but are not going to take them lightly,"
"They are a well-organised team, get crosses in and we can't rely on our previous performances against them."
We may just need to agree with Arsene and Aaron because last season Wigan beat Man City to claim the trophy not too long after the Etihad outfit trashed them in the league.
Nikica Jelavic and Shane Long will not feature for Hull in the final because both strikers are cup-tied. Jelavic played for Everton in the early stages of the tournament, Long for Westbrom.
