Bruce Planning to Extend Arsenal's Wait for Silverware.

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has given a 'Call of Duty' to his players as they prepare to lock horns with Arsenal in the FA Cup final this evening at the Wembley Stadium.

The one time Sunderland manager according to reports challenged his players requesting they write their names in the club's history books by doing the unexpected. Bruce wants them to shock Arsenal just the same way Wigan did when they played Manchester City in the 2013 FA Cup final.

“I know from experience, the Cup final is like a blur, so my message to the players will be to make sure they savour it and remember it,” said the Hull manager.

“Make sure you play a full part, because it’s not a nice memory if you don’t. Can you make a name for yourself? Can you be a hero? Can you go down in this club’s history as the team that beat Arsenal in the Cup final?

“That’s what I’ll be challenging them to do, and we will have a plan of action to try and beat Arsenal. Just look at last season. Wigan’s players will be remembered forever as Cup winners, and that has to be the spur for us”

I guess Wenger would have given a similar advise to his own boys. Arsenal have been without silverware for a very long time and making a chance to break this jinx go off our grip would be another disaster after the 2010 Carling Cup experience. We are not going to underrate Hull despite having defeated them twice this season.
