Wenger Refuses to Listen to the Pleas of the 'Prodigal Son'.

Arsenal have no plans of bringing back ex-captain Cesc Fabregas and have informed Barcelona they will not make a bid for him this summer.

Cesc left Arsenal for £35 million in 2011 after deciding he wanted to return to his childhood club. He got there hoping to get regular playing opportunities but his hopes were dented when he was deprived of that right. Right now, the Spanish giants are willing to allow him join the club of his choice.

When he was sold to Barcelona, a buy-back clause was included in the deal which meant the Gunners could get him back at a reduced cost. However Arsene Wenger has revealed he is no longer in need of the 27-year old since he already has the likes of Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey, Santi Cazorla, Tomas Rosicky, Jack Wilshere and others in midfield. A striker to ease the stress off Olivier Giroud, a right-back to replace Bacary Sagna and a goalkeeper to fill in the void left by Lukasz Fabianski who joined Swansea City last week are the Frenchman's priorities at the moment.

As it stands, Fabregas will have no choice than to join either of Manchester United or Chelsea who are believed to be after the 2010 World Cup winner. Signing for any of these teams who are rivals to Arsenal is against hi wish. He made it clear when he departed the Emirates Stadium that Arsenal is the only club he would love to go if paradventure he decides to leave Barca in future. There are reports Fab is not happy with Arsenal's silence as he desperately wants another reign under Arsene Wenger.

I don't know but there are reports an agreement had already been reached with Chelsea. Whether it's true or false, we will get to know before the World Cup kicks off in the next few days.

On Thursday morning his club and national teammate, Gerard Pique was caught live on camera telling Spain's national team coach, Vincente del Bosque that Fabregas told him a €33 million deal has been done and dusted. There were indications it was actually planned so as to deceive pressmen who were around at that time.

I really feel bad for Fabregas but the truth is we do not need him. Just can't imagine the dude joining another club aside Arsenal. I would be so annoyed if he joins Chelsea because that is not a club where any reasonable player should dream of especially with Jose Mourinho being the coach. Wishing him all the best in his search for greener pastures.

Over to you my boss. Do you agree with Wenger? Do we have Fabregas' replacement already?
