Alexis Sanchez Doing Everything to Enable Him Play in Derby.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has declared that the new players (Sanchez especially) who joined Arsenal in the summer transfer window already realize how crucial the North-London Derby is.

The Gunners made five signings; David Ospina, Calum Chambers, Mathieu Debuchy, Alexis Sanchez, Danny Welbeck and all of them cannot just wait for that special day when Arsenal will lock horns with their dreaded rivals at the Emirates Stadium.

The Ox revealed that due to his experience with the El-Classico, Sanchez is longing to be a part of one of football's biggest derbies.

“Alexis and Jack played 90 minutes the other day and they're usually on second-day recovery,” he told Arsenal Player. “But today Alexis really wanted to train and people had to tell him to take it easy.

“That just sums up how much everyone wants to be around the squad and training, and I think he knew we had a massive game coming up this weekend and, as a new boy, it’s good that he does know that.

“Obviously everyone else that’s been here and been involved in a north London derby knows how big it is, so that just proves the intensity goes up in training and everyone just wants to be around and pushing for a start.”

It is good to see that the boys are in high spirit ahead of the game. Hope they make us happy just as they did last week at Villa Park.
