Arsenal: Starting Eleven and Subs for North-London Derby.

Arsenal v Tottenham Lineup.

It has been raining at my end since midnight and I guess this is a sign Arsenal is going to win against Tottenham Hotspur in the North-London derby later today or you think we are afraid of Spurs? Definitely, we are not.

As I was anticipating our match, I experienced a theft by a footballer. This kind of theft he involved in is not a criminal offence and is not punishable by law. I know you are wondering if I have gone insane. You are wrong for thinking so because I am still aware that Arsenal was established in the year 1886. Read on for details of that case.

It all happened this afternoon at Anfield and the culprit was Phil Jagielka. Liverpool played Everton in today’s early kick-off tie. The first half was goalless but in the 65th minute Steven Gerrard stepped up and fired an absolute beauty of a curling shot that Tim Howard was only able to palm into the back of his own net.

It got to the 90th minute and we saw three extra minutes added by the fourth official. The hosts were already feeling fly as they thought they would escape with all three points but a heartbreaking incident occurred. Jagielka said to himself “If Liverpool won’t walk alone then it will be bad for us to” so he sprung up and when the ball headed away by Lovren got to him, he did well to hit a half-volley from 30 yards. The spherical object beat Mignolet and went into the left hand corner of the net. At the end the points were shared and none of the teams walked alone. At least they were accompanied by a point each. Hahahahahahahahah.

Enough of the banter. Let me go back to what I actually came here for. The lineup is what I have brought to you Gunners.

As usual Szczeny starts in goal. Sanchez misses out of the starting eleven once again as Per Mertesacker overcomes his injury to make the team. Below is the team in full.

Starting XI: Szczesny, Chambers, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs, Wilshere, Arteta, Ramsey, Ozil, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Welbeck.

Subs: Ospina, Coquelin, Flamini, Rosicky, Podolski, Cazorla, Alexis

See you all after the game.
