DISASTER STRIKES: Mesut Ozil Out for Three Months.

Oh! Why Arsenal? It has happened again! I don't feel like breaking such bad news to you but I have no choice as my duty here is to inform you on latest happenings at the club.

It is Mesut Ozil who has added to our woes with his knee injury which he sustained in Arsenal's 2-0 loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last Sunday.

He left Arsenal to join his fellow countrymen on international duty and on getting to Germany, it was discovered that he has a problem with his knee. An MRI scan was conducted in Munich today. According to the results, he has suffered severe damage to his joint and is now ruled out for at least three months. This means that the 25-year old will play football no more this year. What a disaster!

Below is an excerpt from the German Football Association official website confirming the above mentioned.

"The MRI examination revealed a partial rupture of the outer band of the left knee joint.

"The treatment is... six weeks of immobilisation of the knee joint. Mesut Ozil is likely to be [out for] 10 to 12 weeks."

When are we going to be free from the shackles of evil? While we are still here moaning over the absence of Aaron Ramsey, Mathieu Debuchy and Olivier Giroud, one of our best players is out again. May the God of Soccer have mercy on us.
