Arsenal Striker Set for Temporary January Transfer.

Three Premier League clubs are reportedly said to be interested in Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo. The former Auxerre man who joined the Gunners on a free transfer in 2013 is wanted on loan for the last five months of the season.

Having featured in just few games for Arsenal, a loan move to a club where he would get regular playtime will be a good option for him. The three teams who want his services according to the Daily Mail include Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Sunderland.

Sanogo has played just six games this season. During this period, he has scored a goal and provided two assists but it does not look as if he has any hopes of regular football at least for the present campaign as the competition at Arsenal right now is so tough. The availability of Olivier Giroud, Alexis Sanchez, Lukas Podolski, Danny Welbeck, Theo Walcott and Chuba Akpom as options in attack have made his chances so bleak.

Reports on Friday claimed that the 21-year-old is set to sign a loan deal with any of the interested parties till the end of the season. This means he will be leaving the Emirates Stadium during the January transfer window.

Other clubs outside England are also on the lookout but Arsene Wenger will prefer seeing his boy gain experience within the top flight of the league.

His records on the international scene has shown he is a player for the future. He has gotten 18 goals in 18 appearances for the France U16 side and three goals in eight games for the U21.
