Arsenal Target Reveals He Has Agreed a Deal.

Sevilla star, Grzegorz Krychowiak has dropped a hint on a January move to a club in England which many sources believe is Arsenal.

The highly rated defensive midfielder who has been influential at Sevilla since the seaaon began had been previously watched by Arsenal scouts. Good reports were what they brought back to Arsene Wenger and speculations have it that the Frenchman had since reached a deal with the Spanish side.

In a recent tweet, Krychowiak said, “I have an agreement with an English club. From my experience I know that will change the club when all parties sign the contract. Therefore I will report the details later.”

If we are to go by the details provided in the above statement, then it will be fair to assume that Arsenal is the English club he referred to as they are the ones who are desperately in need of a defensive midfielder. News of Arsenal's interest have also been variously reported.

Krychowiak joined Reims of France in last summer's transfer. He has a release clause of £24million on his contract but that should not be an obstacle for Wenger. The player's want of Champions League football is one factor that will help the deal go through easily. Another option is for Arsene to use his negotiation skills to beat down the price a bit.

In a chat with AS, the Polish star expressed his desire to play in the Champions League, “I needed to change club and be much more ambitious.

“Each year, I want to be playing in Europe, and the goal is to be in the Champions League. Sevilla are a great club but also a club from which you can make a jump to the highest level. If you are good at Sevilla, many sides become interested in you because there are always many opportunities to impress.

“When I changed club, I knew I made a step forward. Emery places strong emphasis on strategy and tactics. During the match, everything must work perfectly. I learn a lot every day, there is progress.”

Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini have not been able to properly choke up the Arsenal midfield which is one reason why they find it hard holding on to leads. The arrival of Krychowiak to the Emirates Stadium could be the end of agony for the Gunners.
