BREAKING NEWS: Lukas Podolski Agrees Deal to Join Inter Milan.

Match-starved Arsenal forward is on the verge of signing a £1.5million loan deal with Inter Milan, according to the Daily Mail.

Inter Milan sent representatives to London last Saturday and it is believed a six-month loan deal for Lukas Podolski has been struck. The agreement stated that the German international will only leave after Arsenal have played Southampton on New Year Day.

The 29-year-old's frustration at Arsenal has grown so high that he has come out on two different occasions this season to voice out his anger. Even after showing he can help the team climb high, he is still being kept out of games and this has become a cause to worry about for the former Cologne and Bayern Munich star. He will now join the Italian giants for the remaining part of the season.

Podolski has just one year left on his current contract with Arsenal which means that he might not return to the Emirates Stadium afterall. This news will definitely not be sweet in the ears of many Arsenal supporters like me for I see no reason why a player of such quality should be thrown out just like that. The club may look back and regret their decision as the season goes on.

The Polish-born star has performed magnificiently in the Champions League this present campaign. He has three goals to his credit in the competition.
