Olivier Giroud Happy to Play Alongside New Arsenal Recruits.

Olivier Giroud Goal Man Utd

Olivier Giroud is loving his patnership with Danny Welbeck and he says that both of them have clicked well.

Giroud got injured so early in the season and has not really had much playtime alongside the former Manchester United man but the few he has had has established the fact that they can do exploits if played at the same time.

Since his return in Arsenal's loss to Manchester United in which he scored his side's only goal, the Frenchman has combined perfectly with the English international and Sanchez in the game against Westbromwich Albion which ended in favour of the Gunners. To him, Arsenal will become more deadly in front of goal with the presence of himself, Alexis and Danny. He also claimed not to be worried about him losing his place to the new recruit as he sees competition as a good thing.

"With Danny we are quite complimentary," Giroud told Arsenal Player. "We have a good understanding on the pitch.

"If you are watch the last game when I came on - and West Brom as well - we found each other really well on the pitch. We can play together.

"Some people say we will have to choose between me or Welbeck. Other people ask me, ‘are you worried about your place?’ but I say, ‘the competition is good for the team and it will be a benefit for each other’.

"A great team like Arsenal needs several good strikers so I think we will have a good time on the pitch together.

"It’s like with Alexis on the pitch. When you play with a great player it’s always easier to have a good relationship on the pitch.

"You are not thinking a lot about it, you just try to work on it in training and it’s working really well for us at the moment, so we are pleased with that."
