Aaron Ramsey Tops in Goal of the Month Contest.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has won the Goal of the Month contest, courtesy the club's official poll.

The fans voted the Welshman's long-range wonder strike in Arsenal's 4-1 win over Galatasaray as their best goal of the month for December.

That goal was his second for that night. Having previously scored our second in that game, Ramsey connected with a cleared corner before sending in a deadly shot from 30 yards. His left-footed strike went straight into the top corner of the net. The goalkeeper will never forget that. (laughs)

I never expected any other goal to win it eversince I saw that goal over and over again. It was just too glaring and that was why the Wales international's goal got a whopping seventy eight percent (78%) and you know what? His first goal in the same game was in second position.

Lukas Podolski's opener in that same Champions League match was in third spot with three percent (3%) of the fans' votes. Oh my world! So all Arsenal's best three goals in a month came against Just one side? Galatasaray, you guys have really suffered. Just change your stadium's name to Emirates Stadium Phase 2.

Congratulations Rambo! Congratulations Poldi! And kudos to every Arsenal player who scored during the month. Whether their goals made top spot in the poll or not, they were all important to the team afterall.
