Arsenal Beat Man City 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

Where are the haters and doubters? Yes, we did it! I am on top of the world right now. My faith paid off at the end of it all. Arsenal! Oh Arsenal! You rock!

It was as usual expected by many that Arsenal would just go into that game and mess up. We were the pre-match underdogs but unfortunately for our rivals, we came out victorious. It was Manchester City 0-2 Arsenal. What makes it even more interesting is the fact that we defeated the defending champions on their own ground. The last time we left there with all three points was in the year 2010 [they got a red card in that game though]. Good to see history repeat itself.

Arsenal took the lead in the 24th minute. It was Vincent Kompany who brought down Nacho Monreal in the box. We got a penalty and Santi Cazorla did well to convert it into a goal. A Spanish player created the penalty while another Spanish player scored it. We can call this division of labour. Lol.

The struggle continued between the two giants. While the hosts were striving hard to get an equaliser, Arsenal were hoping to get a second and it was Arsenal who were the lucky side. Having previously scored a goal, Cazorla went on to provide an assist from a free-kick which Olivier Giroud headed past Joe Hart to put us two goals ahead. This guy [Giroud] keeps scoring against big teams. He scored against Man City in the Community Shield, did against Manchester United when he returned from injury, did against Liverpool and today again banged in another against Manuel Pellegrini's side.

Another clean sheet recorded. David Ospina has been in goal in our last three games which has seen us not concede a single goal. Kudos to him. Francis Coquelin was superb. The Frenchman gave his best in defensive midfield. He deserves to retain that spot. Bellerin? He is a darling. He made sure we did not feel the absense of Mathieu Debuchy that much.

Santi Cazorla once again showed his class. One goal and one assist came from him. If I am to pick the Man of the Match, he will definitely be the one. This is not because he scored and assisted alone but as a result of his overall performance.

We were entirely different today as opposed to our displays in previous big games. Our confidence level and composure were high. Defensively we were so so solid.

No Debuchy, Ozil, Arteta, Walcott, Wilshere, Diaby, Welbeck and still we trashed a side who had already won on paper before the season even began. I will keep saying this: Football is a game played on the pitch. Yes, it's okay to make analysis based on team strength but that doesn't mean one should underrate anyone. I said before the game that I do not see City as a threat in as much as we are well composed. What affects us in most big games is our mentality. We go into some games already believing we cannot win and that goes a long way to have an effect on the final result.

At the end we had cause to proudly say that we are the Red and White Army. We are now a point away from leaping into the Premier League's first four spot.

If I may ask..... What has Man City done to deserve all these torture [laughs]? We first beat them 3-0 at Wembley back in August, played a 2-2 draw at the Emirates and at the Etihad today, it ended 2-0 in our favour. I don't pity them anyway.
