Arsene Wenger Not Giving Up on Luis Suarez.

It is being said that Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger is reconsidering making another attempt to sign ex-Premier League star from Spain.

Arsenal battled so hard to acquire the services of Luis Suarez in the summer of 2013 but unfortunately, the Reds did not want to sell him out [especially to a league rival] at that time. Arsenal's desperation to meet his release clause made Wenger table a bid of £42 000 001 which led to Liverpool's director asking what they are smoking at the Emirates Stadium.

Wenger's failure to lay his hands on the Uruguayan star was the more likely reason why he had to go for Mesut Ozil. After the 2014 World Cup, Liverpool sold Suarez out to Barcelona for a fee of £75million. The Frenchman is now rumoured to be planning to sign the former Liverpool man from Barcelona at the end of the season.

Since his move, he has not been able to properly settle down at the Camp Nou. He has only scored twice in 11 appearances since returning from a ban he got for biting Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup.

The recent crisis at the club which led to the sack of the club's director is one which has caused a lot of instability at Barcelona and Wenger thinks this is the right time to make a move.

However, some hindrances may deal a heavy blow to Wenger's chances of getting Luis Suarez. One of them is that Barcelona are currently serving a transfer ban which means they cannot sign players. Since they cannot replace whoever they sell, they'll rather hold on to what they have. Aside that, Suarez will cost a lot of money so to get him, Wenger must break the bank.
