Arsene Wenger has revealed that his second choice goalkeeper, David Ospina will be the one to start in Arsenal's FA Cup tie against Hull City today.
Wojciech Szczesny will get some rest. It is usual for the Arsenal manager to leave out many first choice players from cup games so it is not certain if Szczesny's exclusion is linked with the Frenchman's policy or a punishment for the Pole's poor display in our last few games. Who he will play in our next league game against Stoke City will give us a clue about what inspired his decision.
Olivier Giroud will not feature as he will be serving his last of a three- match ban from his red card against Queens Park Rangers. Lukas Podolski won't play. Why? He is now at Inter Milan. All the best to him. Success all the way.
Danny Welbeck missed the Southampton game through injury and is a doubt for today's encounter. However, he is exppected to pass a late fitness test which might see Alexis Sanchex get some rest.
Theo Walcott may also make a sensational return against Hull City. The Englsihman has not started any game for about a year and will be hoping to get a start in the cup tie. He came on as a substitute on New Year Day when the Gunners lost to Southampton at St. Mary's.
For Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey, they are both back in training. When they will be available for selection is still unknown but there is a possibility that any of them can get a slot on the bench today. If that will be the case, I do not expect Ozil to be included since he has been out for a while. He still needs to attain a certain level of fitness to be able to break back into the team.
Mikel Arteta, Abou Diaby and Jack Wilshere are all unavailable while Flamini is on the verge of recovering from a knock.
