Newcastle United Midfielder Wants Arsenal Move.

Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko has once again given the media something to talk about after his recent statements.

In an interview with Foot Mercato, the French international said he is longing for a move to 'a very big club' in the Premier League. This is believed to be Arsenal as he had earlier this month referred to the North-London club as 'the club of my heart'. He has now put the Gunners who once showed interest in the 26-year-old on red alert and it is believed that a bid has already been tabled for him.

"My goal was to come to England because it was the championship that best matched my game and I do not think I am wrong, Sissoko said.

"So I want to stay here [England] and grow at one of the biggest clubs in England. I have a preference for the Premier League and I see myself staying here.

"I am focused on Newcastle. I have a four-and-a-half year contract so in my head I still tell myself I am still here for four years and a half. They appreciate me here and everything is good."

Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea are also after the £16million rated star. Sissoko has scored eight goals in 67 appearances for Newcastle since joining them from Ligue 1 side, Toulouse back then in 2013.
