After man works so hard, it is necessary to chill out and enjoy oneself and this was what Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez did after helping us progress to the fourth round of the FA Cup tournament for the season.
Arsenal were victorious with a 2-0 scoreline over Hull City [the same side they met in the final of last season] on Sunday evening. Per Mertesacker opened scoring with a 20th minute header from Alexis's corner-kick before the Chilean closed the day with a curling shot from the edge of the penalty box. This means that the former Barcelona star scored the second and masterminded the opener.
Several hours after the Hull game, the 26-year old took to Twitter to share a picture of himself and a friend having a meal. He captioned the image thus: “A good dinner with my friend Mauro.”
Sanchez has done outstandingly well since making a £35million summer transfer from Barcelona to Arsenal after the World Cup. He has scored 16 goals and assisted eight in all competitions for us this season.
