Santi Cazorla Wins Vitality Player of the Month Award.

Arsenal midfielder, Santi Cazorla has been voted the Vitality Player of the Month for December.

With four goals and an assist for the Gunners last month, the Spanish international secured more than half of the total votes. He started with a goal from a penalty kick against Stoke City then went on to score a brace in Arsenal's 4-1 victory over Newcastle United - the same side who made sure Jose Mourinho's Chelsea do not end the season as Invincibles. That was his 30th birthday and those goals made sure he celebrated it in grand style.

Next was his assist for Olivier Giroud in our 2-2 draw with Liverpool. He also scored first through a penalty kick against Westham United.

Alexis Sanchez had to drop low after winning a trebble - the September, October and November editions. This time around, he came second while Olivier Giroud followed in third spot.

Cazorla will be presented with his award by an Arsenal fan from Kent when we host Stoke City at the Emirates Stadium this weekend. Callum Burgess is his [fan's] name.
