Wojciech Szczesny Will Not Play Again this Season?

Arsenal have denied claims which stated that there was a dressing room bust-up which involved Wojciech Szczesny after the Southampton game.

John Jensen, a former Danish and Arsenal midfielder, who is a friend to Steve Bould revealed Arsene Wenger fined Szczesny and told him he will never play again this season for his unruly dressing room behaviour.

It was apparent that the Arsenal goalkeeper was highly responsible for both goals his side conceded on New Year Day but according to reports, the Pole felt no bit of remorse as he uttered statements that made his teammates go crazy at him.

In annoyance, Wenger shunned him and promised he will remain on the bench for the remaining half of the season after he must have paid a fine.

Reacting to this, an Arsenal spokesman termed the reports 'false', saying that there was no such incident involving Szczesny after the Southampton loss.

Arsene Wenger when asked at his press conference refused to give the reason why he completely left out the Polish international from the team that beat Hull City in the FA Cup.

“I don’t want to speak about him” he told reporters when asked about his performance.

His refusal to talk about the Pole may be a sign that that dressing room incident really occurred. Maybe the club is just trying to cover things up as usual.

It may be that Szczesny's exclusion was just due to Arsene's normal policy of resting some first choice players in cup games. We shall get to know what's up in our next game. If Szczesny does not start against Stoke City then we know this story may be true afterall.

    1. I think he should be given a break so as to get eased. He seems unsettled at the moment.
