Find Out Which Arsenal Players Will Miss the Chelsea Game This Weekend.

Arsenal v Chelsea Injury News

Another big game in near and this time, it will be Arsenal and Chelsea battling it out at the Emirates Stadium. This crucial tie will come up on Sunday and it is an opportunity for the Gunners to put an end to the long-term spell Jose Mourinho has placed on Arsene Wenger. In case you never knew, the Arsenal manager has never won any game against the Portuguese.

Chelsea who now sit at the top of the Premier League table will wish to continue in winning ways so as to widen the gap betwen them and Arsenal in their chase for the league trophy which will most likely end up in their hands. Arsenal on the other hand will be looking to gain all three points for two reasons: one is to keep the gap between them and the Blues close, while the next is to prove those who think that Wenger's side can never record a victory against Chelsea under Mou wrong.

As we look forward to the clash, the manager has disclosed to the media the latest team news. At his pre-match Press Conference, Wenger gave updates on Per Mertesacker, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mikel Arteta and Gabriel Paulista.

Mertesacker sustained an injury when Arsenal were playing Reading in the semi-final of the FA Cup at Wembley and eversince then, the German international defender has not been training with the rest of his teammates. He is still receiving treatment and for this reason is a doubt for the Blues' visit to North-London.

Gabriel is fit. We saw him come on as a substitute in our last game so if it eventually happens that our BFG doesn't recover on time, the Brazillian will occupy till he comes just as Jesus Christ commanded his disciples.

Alex the Ox has been totally ruled out. He will not feature at all as he is still recovering. He has not even resumed training. Arteta who is now back in training is so close to a first team comeback but making such a return in a game like the one we are going to see on Sunday may end up being disastrous for him and the team as a whole. He is still short of fitness and needs some time to get back to normal.

That's all on injury news for now. Stay Calm and Believe in the Red and White Army of Arsene Wenger. Cheers!
