The agent of another Arsenal target is currently in London to discuss terms for a possible move for the attacking midfielder, the Daily Mirror website can confirm.
Nicolas Gaitan who has been with Benfica since 2010 has had an impressive run in the last eighteen months and his quality has caught the attention of Arsene Wenger.
It is understood that Benfica president Luis Filipe Vieira and superagent Jorge Mendes are in England to negotiate a transfer for the 27-year-old who has raked in a total of 21 goals in 126 appearances for the Portuguese club. He also has 2 goals in 9 appearances for the Argentina national team.
It looks as if the San Martin-born star is bound for the exit door at Benfica with a Portuguese Sports daily bidding him farewell as it claimed he will play his last game for his current side this weekend before taking his leave.
