Alexis Sanchez says he is starting to get settled at Arsenal and London and is willing to help the Gunners win trophies in season to come.
The Chilean international has been on top form since joining Arsenal from Barcelona last summer and he is no doubt one of the best in the League alongside Chelsea;s Eden Hazard. His 16 goals and eight assists in the league has gone a long way to help Arsenal finish in the top 3, avoiding a Champions League play-off.
The 26-year old stated that the comfort he feels at the Emirates Stadium has been the secret of his nice form for Arsenal since leaving Barcelona.
Sanchez told Arsenal’s website: “It hasn’t been really easy but so far my spell here has been a very positive one.
“I like the city a lot and I feel really comfortable at the club. The supporters here are very cheerful and enlivening, which is a very nice thing, and my team-mates are really kind too.
“My goal now is to take Arsenal as high as possible.”
The forward went on to praise the rest of hid teammates as he revealed that there is a positive attitude in the squad.
He continued: “I would say it’s very positive, not only among the players, but I would say that extends to the staff too.
“Everyone at the club is always available for us and that’s a great thing for us to have as players.”
Sanchez is expected to be in the Arsenal team that will feature against Aston Villa on May 30 as they look to defend their FA Cup title.
