Arsenal defensive midfielder target is nearing a transfer away from the Santiago Bernabeu as he looks for a new point of duty. The German international has arrived in Italy ahead of a switch to Juventus.
Sami Khedira is set to reject advances from English clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea and Man United who had since been monitoring him at Real Madrid. This means the interested clubs will have to continue their hunt to get someone in that position and with Arsenal believed to be close to signing Arturo Vidal, there is little to worry about.
It is even being rumoured that Juventus want to get Khedira as a replacement for Vidal who according to reports is Arsenal-bound.
The 28-year-old's contract has expired and he will be signing for the Serie A giants as a free agent, an opportunity which Arsenal will have loved to grab.
Since it is his choice to continue his career in Italy, who are we to question him. Afterall, he is old enough to decide for himself and the side he is heading to are doing great. They have already won two trophies this term and will be looking to make it a treble by the time they face La Liga champions, Barcelona in the Champions League final next week.
