Arsenal Midfielder Wins PFA Fans' Player Award.

Mesut Ozil has been named the PFA Fans' Player of the Month of April after helping Arsenal win four of their five matches last month.

The German international was on target for the Gunners against Liverpool and was also influential in their FA Cup semi-final win over Reading, a game in which he provided two assists.

The 26-year-old World Cup winner will be handed his prize by one lucky fan before the season comes to a halt.

Ozil joined Arsenal from Real Madrid in the summer of 2013 for a fee of £42million and has since made 66 appearances for the North-London outfit.

He was under fire in his first season because of his inconsistency but the story has now changed. Right now, only Cesc Fabregas has bagged more Premier League assists than him in the last two seasons.

Arsenal have a total of 67 points from 33 games. They are 13 points behind Chelsea who have played a game more.
