Yes! Yes! Yo! Anticipation mode activated for all Arsenal and Aston Villa fans as we look forward to the FA Cup final clash which will be holding at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
As Arsenal are hoping to retain the trophy which they won last season, Arsene Wenger has revealed the latest team update. There is not much in this one because majority of the players are okay. No new problems were recorded from our last Premier League match of the campaign.
The only blow we have is that Danny Welbeck has not fully recovered from the injury he had been battling with for a while. The boss today confirmed that he will not make the FA Cup squad and also not be available for the England national team when they play their friendly and Euro qualifier matches.
Wenger and Roy Hodgson were hopeful he will be ready to feature but when the club noticed that there were still complications on the player's knee, a call had to be made to the FA to let them know that Welbeck needs enough rest and as such, should not be involved in their coming matches.
Captain Mikel Arteta has resumed training after a lengthy absence. As for Mathieu Debuchy and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, they are available.
However, they may still be left out of the show due to lack of competition. It has been a while they both played so their return should not be in a crucial game like the one for the weekend.
