Former Arsenal Star Happy to Land New Achievement.

Former Arsenal star has expressed delight over his achievement at his new club this season. Before now, his highest number of assists in a single campaign had remained at 17 but the story has now changed.

Cesc Fabregas joined Chelsea in the summer of 2014 after struggling to seal a spot in Barcelona and as usual, he has continued to do what he is well known for - creating goal chances. The season has not ended, yet he already has 18 assists to his name. He is just two more away from the Premier League's all-time assist record owned by ex-Gunner, Igwe Thierry Henry who is now a Sky Sports football pundit.

“I told [Eden] Hazard 'I’ll pass you the ball, and you shoot every time [against Liverpool]', Fabregas told Spanish radio station Cope.

“In any case, I’m happy to have beaten my personal record of 17.”

Arsenal's ex-skipper may end up equaling or beating Thierry Henry's record. Chelsea has two more games to go so that is still very possible considering the kind of player Fabregas is. Wishing him all the best.
