Latest Arsenal Injury News Ahead of Last Premier League Game.

Arsenal Injury News Today Westbrom

Arsenal will be playing their last Premier League game of the season on Sunday and ahead of the clash, Arsene Wenger has briefed the media on the latest fitness level of his squad.

It;s good to know that there were no fresh injuries from the Sunderland game. The only issue is that many of those who played that game had knocks and will be assessed before Sunday. They are expected to be fit.

There is positive news coming in! Mathieu Debuchy and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain have fully recovered and have resumed training today. Sunday will be too early for them to make starts. Whether they will play in the FA Cup final is still unknown.

It's quite unfortunate that Danny Welbeck is on his way to missing the FA Cup final which will come up on May 30. He newly recovered from his knee injury and will need some time to get back to his best. With the look of things, next season might be when he will be making an Arsenal return.

On whether he changed training to help fatigued players, the Frenchman said: "Yes, we have our medical tests to see how everyone recovers.

"We have given a lot physically and mentally at Manchester United and it [the time before the Sunderland game] was a bit short maybe for us to recover completely. This time we have a bit longer to recover and we have our tests to see how well everybody recovers.

"I might rest one or two maybe but overall I believe that the team will be similar to the team that played on Wednesday night."

Arsenal;s last league game of the season will be against Westbromwich Albion who currently sit in 13th position on the table. It is also the Gunners' last home game.
