Latest Arsenal Injury News

On Tuesday, Arsene Wenger spoke to the press concerning the condition of his squad as they prepare to face Sunderland in their last but one Premier League game of the season. He talked about Danny Welbeck, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mathieu Debuchy and Laurent Koscielny.

Mathieu Debuchy since joining Arsenal from Newcastle United last summer has not really played so much because of two long-term injuries that have threatened his season so far. Right now, he is set  to make a return to training and according to the boss, he will begin training with his mates on Friday.

The Ox and Welbeck will not feature against Sunderland even though they are making progress in their recovery. Their involvement in the FA Cup final on May 30 will depend on how fast they become fully fit.

"I don’t know yet, let’s see how they all recover next week", Wenger said.. "Danny Welbeck is not available yet, he is not in full training, so I honestly don’t know. They all have to get fit very quickly now because there is not a long way to go [to the final]."

Laurent Koscielny is having a little problem so his involvement tonight will depend on a late fitness tests. There are also a few players who got jaded as a result of the United game. They will also be assessed before the final selection is made.

This is all on injuries. Can't wait to see my Arsenal in action agaain. We are surely going to triumph on the green grass at the Emirates. I believe that. Let me go to bed and dream of the game. Will tell you what the game will look like when I wake up. Lol. Have a nice night rest. See you early in the morning.
