Mourinho Reveals Chelsea Star Could Join Arsenal.

Chelsea goalkeeper, Petr Cech has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge. This is evident from the fact that he has started only six Premier League games for the Blues this season, leading to speculations that he will be leaving this summer.

Before this time, many news sources had reported that Arsenal have made contacts with Chelsea over a possible switch to the Emirates Stadium as they continue to hunt for an experienced alternative to Wojciech Szczesny who has since lost his place in the first team. In reaction to such reports, many Arsenal fans said that they do not believe such a deal will be successful because Jose Mourinho would not want to sell to his rivals but it seems the Portuguese has no choice afterall.

In a recent interview, Mourinho stated that he would keep Cech at the club if the decision is going to be for him alone to make but unfortunately, that will not be the case as there are other parties involved. He revealed he would be happier seeing the Czech international join a club outside England rather than cross over to a rival team.

“One thing is Jose Mourinho and another is Mr Abramovich and another thing is the board because the board is a little bit of me and other people,’

‘If it was my decision, the decision is Petr to stay. That’s it.’

The 32-year-old has been given the go-ahead to decide where he will continue his footballing career after 11 years at Chelsea. He will definitely be a good buy if Arsenal should succeed with the deal and hopefully, he can help in our title push next season. What do you think?
