Wojciech Szczesny Set to Leave Arsenal. To Where?

Wojciech Szczesny To Southampton Transfer.

Arsenal goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczesny is set to make a move away from the Emirates Stadium after falling off the pecking order in Arsene Wenger's team.

The Polish international was dropped after having a very poor display away at Southampton on New Year Day, a game which the Gunners lost 2-0. As if the errors he made in the game were not enough, he still went on to smoke some cigarettes in the dressing room shower, an incident which sparked controversy in the footballing community.

Since that incident occurred, David Ospina has been the new No.1 and his nice quality has made sure Arsenal do not feel the absence of Szczesny in goal.

As a result of his lack of games, Southampton have decided to bring him to St. Mary's to fill in the void left by Forster. Forster currently has an injury which will see him miss a greater part of the 2015/16 season. From reports gotten from insider sources, the move will not be a permanent one at least for now. A season-long loan offer is what the Saints are giving out to the Pole who will surely embrace the proposal.
