Arsenal Agree Personal Terms With Versatile Scottish Star.

It is being reported in the tabloids that Arsenal are about to sign Hull City defender, Andrew Robertson.

The Gunners according to the Metro have agreed personal terms with the versatile defender who is also been pursued by Louis Van Gaal and many other managers.

The Scot has been a figure of admiration by many Premier League sides of recent but it is Arsenal who are said to have moved a step higher by making their interest in Robertson known.

Arsenal are now close to completing a deal for the 21-year-old left-back who can also play as a winger. £5million is what the North-London side are willing to pay but Hull City coach, Steve Bruce has told the press that Robertson is open for talks but will only be given out to any side who is prepared to cough out £30million.

That is a bit of comedy coming from Bruce. How will anyone pay such for a youngster who has only played for one season at a mid-table club.

Anyway, Arsene Wenger isn't a novice when it comes to striking such deals. He definitely will pay what he thinks the player is worth and I am sure Bruce knows within himself that he cannot sell Robertson for that amount. He is just taking a gamble to see if a Man City, Chelsea or Paris Saint Germain will fall into his trap.
