BREAKING NEWS: Petr Cech Completes Move to Arsenal.

We have waited, waited and waited for so long after the many links of Petr Cech to Arsenal surfaced and right now, we have good news coming in.

Petr Cech has completed his move to Arsenal as he has now put pen to paper. He is now a Gooner. Yes, he is.

This news was revealed by the official Twitter account of the MailOnline not too long ago. Arsenal have finally succeeded in sealing their first major transfer of the summer.

The 33-year-old was signed for £11million and will earn £100 000-a-week at the Emirates. We have not yet gotten details on the number of years he signed but it is likely to be a deal which will see him stay at the club for at least the next three seasons.

Cech handed in a transfer request after losing his place to Thibaut Courtois in the recently concluded season. Jose Mourinho did not want him to join Arsenal but since the Czech Republic international wanted to remain in England with his family, his loyalty had to be honoured so he was allowed to hold talks with Arsenal. Now it has now been done and dusted.

He spent 11 seasons at Stamford Bridge and won four Premier League titles, four FA Cup winners medals, three League Cup trophies and a Champions and Europa League medal.

His arrival at Arsenal will surely be a big boost to the squad. Welcome to Arsenal Cech. We are happy you are now one of us. YaGoonerYa!
