Image: Deal For Arsenal Target Confirmed.

Arsene Wenger's top target, Arturo Vidal has signed for an unknown top European club, reports have it. Is that Arsenal? We don't know.

Spanish news source, Marca revealed that Juventus have already struck a deal with a top club but will not give any clue on the transfer until the Copa America tournament is concluded. However, it is being rumoured that his destination will be Arsenal.

The Gunners have been making attempts to get the Chilean captain since the end of last season and from what Jose Vicente Hernandez has told us, all is already done. The journalist claimed that the announcement had to be delayed because of a recent accident which the 28-year-old had while on duty with his national team. Vidal ended up crashing his Ferrari in that drink-driving incident.

This news about Vidal's transfer coincides with that of some South American sources who earlier stated that the star would head to the Emirates Stadium to join his fellow countryman, Alexis Sanchez. Both are currently on international duty at the Copa America. They are now in the semi-final which will be played against Peru on Monday.

Vidal is the joint-top scorer at the ongoing Copa America competition. He will be looking to help his side qualify for the final and win the trophy for their first time. Chile have never won the Copa America.
