TRANSFER NEWS: Arsenal To Spend £85Million On Four Players.

Jackson Martinez to Arsenal

According to the Daily Express, Arsene Wenger is set to pounce on four players whose presence will pose a big threat to his league rivals as from next season.

The first on this list is Arturo Vidal who the tabloids already claimed had agreed personal terms with the Gunners. The North-London side are preparing to land him for £25million. The Juventus star is also being lined up for a move by Louis Van Gaal.

Morgan Schneiderlin, a Southampton midfielder has been on Arsenal's radar since the last summer transfer window. Their bid for the Frenchman stalled after his side revealed they were no willing to sell him out but this time around, the Emirates outfit have re-ignited their interest.

To make things easier, Morgan Schneiderlin himself has come out to say that he is tired of watching his mates play in the Champions League on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. He also wants to be involved in top European action and since the Saints cannot offer him that at the moment, he wants to leave. Arsenal are already in next season's UCL so they should be able to tempt him with that.

Arsenal also want to acquire the services of Petr Cech and Jackson Martinez. These two would cost £10million and £25million respectively.

Cech is tired of being benched at Chelsea, Martinez on the other hand wants to leave Portugal to join a top European club. We learnt he has even changed his agent to the influential Jorge Mendes to make the move go through.

It remains to be seen if there is truth in all the above links. We know some of these happen to be real at times but majority do turn out to be false. One of these may end up being an Arsenal player next term.
