Arsenal Win 2015 Emirates Cup Trophy.

Arsenal have been crowned champions of the 2015 Emirates Cup, following wins against Olympique Lyon and Wolfsburg at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal secured a comfortable 6-0 victory over Lyon on Saturday, the opening day of the competition. All six goals were scored by six different players; Olivier Giroud, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Alex Iwobi, Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla. The Gunners were able to pick up nine solid points from that game.

Arsene Wenger's boys on Sunday again recorded another win but this time it was against Wolfsburg. How did this goal come about? It was Theo Walcott who connected with a pass from Arsenal's new 17-year-old signing, Jeff Reine-Adelaide and made a clinical finish. 1-0 was the score at full time meaning Arsenal ended the game with four points.

Altogether, thirteen points were scooped by Arsenal, ten by Villarreal, one by Wolfsburg and none by Lyon. Seven goals from seven scorers for Arsenal, no goals conceded.

This is the fourth time Arsenal will win the Emirates Cup out of the eight times the competition had been staged. Petr Cech made his Emirates Stadium debut today and helped Arsenal win their second pre-season trophy after guiding the Gunners to a Barclays Asia Trophy triumph just about a week ago.

Arsenal will now look forward to winning a third by the time they face Chelsea in the Community Shield at Wembley on August 2.
