CONFIRMED: Arsenal Close to Sealing Transfer of the Season.

A highly-reputable European agent has revealed through his Twitter account that Arsenal are close to sealing what he described as 'the transfer of the season'.

The football agent, Muzzi Ozcan stormed his Twitter profile to make the statement this afternoon. He claimed that the Gunners are nearing a deal for a world class star and this has made so many Arsenal fans begin to wonder who that player is.

"Arsenal will be making the transfer of the season," Ozcan's tweet read. "The deal isn't too far from being complete. Will update in the coming days."

Ozcan works majorly with German teams but that does not necessarily mean that the player he is talking about will come from the Bundesliga. We have seen him get involved in other transfers outside Germany like that of Olivier Giroud from Montpellier to Arsenal and then Slaven Bilic's move to Westham United as manager.

If one is to make guesses, then stars like Gonzalo Higuain and Karim Benzema would come to mind as the two had earlier been heavily linked with possible switches to the Emirates Stadium. If the signing will be from Germany then Mario Gotze will most likely be the one. Gotze seems unhappy at Bayern Munich and might be allowed to leave after his agent blasted Pep Guardiola.

It now remains to be seen if what Ozcan said is really geniune. We will keep flipping through the pages of the newspapers in the coming days to see if we will get any clue concerning the supposed deal.
