Arsenal began their pre-season outing in grand style as they thumped a Singapore XI side 4-0 in the Barclays Asia Trophy on Tuesday.
Chuba Akpom gave the Gunners a one-goal lead in the first half before Jack Wilshere sent in one from the penalty spot when Mathieu Debuchy was brought down in the second half. Akpom was not satisfied with his tally so he added two more in the second half, making him bag a hat-trick.
The hero of the day was no doubt Chuba Akpom who showed he has something to offer in the first team. He was so happy with the feat. See some images of him in today's game.
It's just pre-season, I know but Akpom has no doubt proved his class with the Arsenal youth side and I am confident he can replicate such displays when called upon to partake in the Premier League, Champions League etc. Fire on Bobo! None can stop you at this point.
