According to reports from the Sunday Times, Morgan Schneiderlin has revealed he will rather join Arsenal than become a Red Devil.
The Southampton midfielder has been a subject of transfer discussion so far with Arsenal and Manchester United both tipped to be hunting hard to lay their hands on the Frenchman.
Last week, some sources claimed that Schneiderlin has agreed to go to Old Trafford but with what just surfaced today, such news might be false afterall. The 26-year-old told his friends: 'I want to join Arsenal.'
The midfielder demanded a transfer away from Southampton because he is tired of watching other players participate in the Champions League. This time, he wants to get involved and he is confident he will get that chance at Arsenal.
Even though United are in the Champions League, Schneiderlin has no interest in joining them. Man Utd had a £20million bid rejected. Arsenal have not yet made an official bid but should do so shortly.
It would not be a very tough task for the Gunners if they want his services, being that he has already stated his intention of playing for them. All they need to do now is table a tempting offer which will make the Saints sell him out.
