For about four years now, he has been unable to break into the Arsenal first team as a result of work permit issues and again, he is having a repeat of his experiences in the previous years.
Wellington Silva has once again been loaned out. This time, he is heading to Bolton Wanderers to acquire more skill in the game of football. The Arsenal forward will be with them throughout the 2015/16 season.
His inability to secure a work permit in England had made him go on loan to Levante, Alcoyano, Ponferradina, Murcia and AlmerÃa. He has not yet played for the Brazillian national team, hence the difficulty in securing a permit.
He recently got a Spanish passport, meaning he now qualifies to play for Arsenal but Arsene Wenger has decided to let him stay off the club for some more time.
The 22-year-old, who joined Arsenal from Brazilian side Fluminese in January 2011 will have to do his best to impress the manager during his stay with Bolton so that he could join the big boys soon. Wishing him all the best.
