Olivier Giroud Dropped! See Full Arsenal Lineup for Newcastle Game.

Arsenal have arrived St. James Park for their lunchtime kick-off game with Newcastle United and as it always is before any game kicks off, the lineup has been unveiled.

There are a number of key players missing out as a result of injuries. Per Mertesacker has not yet recovered from his illness and will not play today after previously missing the Liverpool draw.

As for Laurent Koscielny, he has shaken off his back problem and will boss central defence alongside Gabriel Paulista.

Also out is Mesut Ozil. We do not yet know how long we will miss him but we have been made to know that it is just a minor knee injury he has. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain replaces him.

This one will make some fans who do not like seeing Olivier Giroud in the team happy. He has dropped to the bench for Theo Walcott who will spearhead the Arsenal attack.

Arsenal: Cech, Bellerin, Koscielny, Gabriel, Monreal, Coquelin, Cazorla, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ramsey, Sanchez, Walcott.

Subs: Ospina, Debuchy, Gibbs, Arteta, Giroud, Chambers, Campbell.

Newcastle United have not won any of their last eight Premier League games against Arsenal at St.James Park. On these eight occasions, they recorded four draws and four loses. Hope the Gunners can secure all three points today.
