Barcelona chief, Robert Fernandez sent scouts to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, reports in the papers are claiming.
According to El Mundo Deportivo the scouts were witnesses when Arsenal humiliated Manchester United 3-0 in their last Premier League encounter.
Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil were the greatest heroes of the day but none of them was the reason why the hunt was organised.Â
Two defenders, in persons of Hector Bellerin and Gabriel Paulista were being followed to see how well they are progressing. This is to prepare for a move for any of them when the time comes.
Barcelona are hoping they can get back Bellerin who was a product of their academy before joining Arsenal in 2011.
Arsenal midfielder, Aaron Ramsey was another player they watched. The seem to be re-igniting their interest in the Welshman who was previously rumoured to be on their radar.
