Arsenal defender, Nacho Monreal has reached an agreement and signed a new three-year deal with the North-London outfit.
The Spanish left-back has proven to be the man for his position with a series of impressive displays on the flanks so far this season and this has earned him a place in the heart of many Gunners. He has improved to that point where the absence of Kieran Gibbs is not really felt by supporters.
The new deal will see the 29-year-old at the club for a longer period and at least turn off interests from the likes of Athletic Bilbao who are reportedly keen on acquiring his services.
Monreal joined Arsenal in January 2013 and made his Premier League debut against Stoke City two days later in a game which the Gunners won 1-0.
