The German international is popularly known for his skill and goal set-up ability and this has earned him the name 'The Assist King'; One cannot leave out his name when it comes to that. In fact, he currently has the highest number of assists in the 2015/16 Premier League season.

Reliable statistics outfit, Opta yesterday released an update on Twitter confirming Mesut Ozil as the player with the best assist ratio per game in the history of the Premier League.

Ozil is no doubt a superb player who anyone who knows football well should appreciate. Even the great Cristiano Ronaldo did not hide his anger when the World Cup winner was allowed to leave Real Madrid because while he was at the Santiago Bernabeu, he provided many goalscoring chances for him.
